New entry blog

A new entry in blog links section, its Music Thing Blog.
Such a good and useful blog for music gear

Adrian Legg, new cd

This morn I received this email from Adrian Legg, one of my favourite acoustic guitarist:

"The long awaited CD from Adrian Legg is now available. Inheritance, released September 21 in the US (worldwide release early 2005), is available on-line at www.adrianlegg.com in the "Swag Store" or in stores near you. With a colorful mix of gentle contemplative ballads, snappy and percussive jams, rock-edged electricity and hints of folk music, Irish jig and traditional church music influences, Inheritance marks a radical contrast from the unadorned, minimal production approach of Adrian's rootsy 2003 release Guitar Bones. GET IT NOW!!!

Tour dates already confirmed:

Oct. 19, Iron Horse Music Hall, Northampton, MA
Oct. 20, Van Dyck, Schenectady, NY
Oct. 23, Bodles Opera House, Chester, NY
Oct. 24, Tin Angel, Philadelphia, PA
Oct. 29, Issoudun Guitar Festival, Issoudun, FRANCE "

No dates in Italy!!! Hope he'll be in Rome one of these days....

Huge Nike collection

Even if I am not a big fan of Nike I have to recognize that this is a relly huge collection of weird Nike shoes, in the White Dunk Tokyo.

This one remind me one of the Muppets Show characters...To be honest I like all of these shoes, so bizarre!!!

The Streets, banned video in UK

I've just read from D(R about that The Streets just released a video that has been banned throughout the UK, see it its not a video that should be banned for me...
Since last week, when I got the album, I am getting a fan of them, I like their album and even the videoclips, such as "Fit But You Know It" or "Dry Your Eyes Mate" with so many british cliche :)

Anyway view more videos of tha bandhere

And have a look on BBC website about Mike Skinner and the Streets in one minute

I've just finished to listen the new album from The Streets "A Grand Dont Come For Free"; I found out them when I see the videoclip
"Fit But You Know It" on television,so funny, then I listened the album and I like it!!!
A mix of London different sounds, from pop to hip-pop and beats and a bit of dub---overmore the cliche of a sort of Londiners, such as the "East Endenders" accent that it seems they use...
Have a look at videos from MTV webiste
I know MTV sucks....anyway
